Consultation & Qualification
Muve-affiliated surgeons conduct comprehensive assessments and in-depth diagnoses to determine appropriate treatment options. If surgery is determined as the best path forward, patients who meet the clinical criteria for the Muve program are scheduled for their procedure. At this stage, patients are notified that a Nurse Navigator will reach out to begin pre-surgery preparation.

Discharge & Transition Home
Patients transition to short-term post-operative care within the surgical facility before being cleared for discharge. Although it is natural to feel nervous after surgery, patients and their caregivers are well prepared for next steps. During the Pre-Surgery Education stage, their Nurse Navigator covered important post-operative practices, including proper medication administration and adherence, safe physical mobility and home setup to prevent falls and injuries, infection prevention techniques, wound care, and when to seek emergency medical attention. Patients leave the facility feeling confident, informed, and equipped for the next phase of healing—knowing they have a direct line for questions or concerns with their Nurse Navigator.

Navigators remain in close communication with the surgeon to ensure any emerging risks are promptly managed and recovery is kept on track.

Extended Support
For up to one year post-surgery, Nurse Navigators continue to actively monitor and support patients. This includes routine check-ins to evaluate progress, survey and data collection to monitor recovery trends and track key metrics, and ongoing coordination with the patient care team. This extended support provides patients with the necessary guidance necessary to transition confidently back to normal activities and achieve a successful long-term outcome.
