Lisa Thacker serves as the Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management & Compliance at NueHealth, where she leads the organization’s enterprise-wide strategy for risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and operational resilience. Known for her collaborative leadership style, Lisa has built cross functional partnerships that strengthen operational integrity and elevate organizational performance. Since joining NueHealth in 2016 as Director of Clinical Risk Management, she has been instrumental in building a more integrated, data driven approach to risk oversight across the company’s national portfolio of surgical hospitals and ambulatory centers.

With more than 35 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, Lisa brings deep expertise in Insurance, Claims & Litigation, Risk Management, HIPAA, and Compliance. Prior to her tenure at NueHealth, she spent nearly 25 years as Regional Director of Risk Management for a major health system, where she oversaw risk programs for multiple hospitals and care sites, led high stakes investigations, and partnered with executive leadership to strengthen organizational safety culture.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a Specialization in Health Care Management. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) and an active member of the Risk Management Society (RIMS), the American Society for Healthcare Risk Managers (ASHRM), and the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA).

She resides in Overland Park, Kansas, with her husband and family. Her career reflects a long-standing commitment to advancing patient safety, reducing organizational exposure, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in healthcare.
